Achievements


Conservation Volunteers has received many awards recognising our work and the commitment of our volunteers.

In the past year our volunteers:

  • Planted over 550,000 trees
  • Maintained more than 295,000 metres of walking track
  • Collected more than 100,000kg of rubbish
  • Repaired thousands of metres of fence line
  • Delivered in excess of 800,000 hours of conservation volunteering

Our awards include:

  • 2011 - UNWTO Ulysses Award for Innovation in Non-Governmental Organisations
  • 2011 - Finalist, United Nations Association of Australia World Environment Day Awards - Community category
  • 2010 - Commendation Excellence in Parks Award, Economic Category (in partnership with Parks Conservation and Lands ACT)
