The Mount Arthur Centre is the perfect getaway in the Tasmanian county side, nestled on the west side of Mount Arthur, the property has a beautiful stream running through, which also happens to be a protected area for the Mount Arthur Burrowing Crayfish – abundant in wildlife the centre is a great place for Volunteers to get up close and personal with the Tasmanian environment.

The Mount Arthur Environmental Training Centre is on 10 acres of land just two kilometres before the town of Lilydale, available for educational purposes as well as having a large indoor training facility for workshops it is a great place to stay.

Accommodation and Facilities

The Centre can accommodate 10 overnight guests and is very comfortable. The main building is constructed using exposed timbers, a large common room is available and the kitchen facility is large enough for groups to all be involved in the preparation and cooking of meals.

Activities

The Centre being on a Mountain side offers beautiful walking trails, on a clear day at the top of the mountain, the Coast line of Tasmania along Bass Strait can been seen for great distances.
