HEWLETT-PACKARD
Schools' Future Program
Education for sustainability seeks to empower people of all ages to assume responsibility for creating a sustainable future.
Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Conservation Volunteers are working together to support Sustainable Schools in attaining a sustainable future for their schools and their communities, through the 2009 HP School’s Future Program.
The HP Schools’ Future Program combines community volunteering and environmental awareness to promote and educate sustainable practices within schools.
With this vision and commitment in mind, you have been selected to submit an expression of interest to participate in the HP Schools’ Future Program.
How the program works
- Your school identifies a practical conservation project on your school grounds or close to your school that requires hands-on assistance.
- You complete an expression of interest form by Sunday, 31 May 2009.
- CVA assesses submissions and selects schools to be part of the program.
- Sustainable Schools that are chosen to be part of the HP program receive:
- Up to two days of practical assistance from a team of HP and CVA volunteers to help you make your environmental project a reality.
- Each school will receive an HP Compaq 2710p notebook and notebook case valued at over $3,800.00 (rrp).
How can my school be part of the HP Schools’ Future Program?
