Project:

During this project volunteers will be able to see and experience the Grampians National Park in a unique way. Volunteers will be contributing to the park by maintaining our native habitat in ecological vulnerable areas.  Habitat restoration is extremely important for our native plants and animals. Volunteers will be able to visit the famous Mackenzie Falls, situated on the Mackenzie River.

Location:

The Grampians National Park is situated in Western Victoria, approximately 250 km away from Melbourne.  Accommodation will be provided in the town of Halls Gap if needed. 

Wildlife and Wild flowers you might see:  

You will see a number of kangaroos, emus and other wildlife when volunteering in the Grampians National Park. Volunteers may see many of the amazing wildfowler species in bloom!

Getting there:

Transport will be provided from Hamilton to the Grampians on the Monday morning at 8.30am at 79 French Street, Hamilton.  Otherwise volunteers can meet at the Halls Gap Parks Victoria Office at 10.30am on the Monday morning.

Transport will be provided from Halls Gap to the project site daily. From Tuesday morning onwards, volunteers will meet at 8.30am the Parks Victoria Office in Halls Gap.
