WILD FUTURES - Superb Parrot
Help us to create a Wild Future for the Superb Parrot (Polytelis swainsonii). Once common throughout the Murrumbidgee and Murray River networks, this beautiful parrot is fast losing its breeding and feeding habitat.
Threats such as introduced predators, lack of food resources and safe nesting areas is impacting on this bright parrot species.
Conservation Volunteers is giving the Superb Parrot a fighting chance by planting food trees and assisting with the creation of artificial nesting hollows on this urgent and ongoing project. Our supporters and volunteers provide invaluable funding and assistance to make this happen.
