Grampians Weekend Escape

Join us for a weekend getaway in the beautiful Grampians National Park. Assist research students to set up photo monitoring points to determine population size and distribution of small mammals in the Park. The study is part of the Grampians Fire and Fauna research project.  Activities will involve  rolling baits, setting up cameras and bait stations and collecting previous photo data.  The data is used to determine locations and movements of target wildlife species, in particular the nationally vulnerable Long Nosed Potoroo and nationally endangered Southern Brown Bandicoot. You will also have time to enjoy the famous Grampians National Park and relax at our environmentally friendly accommodation in Halls Gap.
