Savings & Loans

Solutions to Climate Change is a partnership between Savings & Loans and Conservation Volunteers Australia.  As one of Australia’s largest credit unions, Savings & Loans are committed to creating sustainable communities.

 

The aim of this partnership is to provide Solutions to Climate Change in the form of managed teams of volunteers to a suite of priority habitat protection and rehabilitation projects across South Australia and other regions of Australia.

 

The focus of this partnership is to promote awareness of climate change issues. In the past Savings & Loans have regularly volunteered their time to plant native vegetation and through this partnership, hopes to further encourage and facilitate staff and members to become involved, whether by raising money, volunteering their time, or making changes to their lives.

 

Through Savings & Loans investing their time and resources into environmental initiatives, Conservation Volunteers are able to conduct volunteering projects that focus on building sustainable communities and actively promote solutions to climate change.
