Naturewise Conservation HolidaysMake a difference as you travel |
Conservation Volunteers offers Naturewise Conservation Holidays – quality, small group ecotour experiences where you get to make a real difference to the conservation of Australia’s unique environment. Naturewise embraces the principles of responsible travel combining conservation with exploration. Our aim is to connect visitors with Australia's beautiful and unique natural areas, while helping to ensure their future preservation. Our Naturewise programs are award recognised and ECO certified.
Naturewise Conservation Holidays range from two days to two weeks. Each program offers the opportunity to visit unique destinations, get close to nature and explore the great outdoors, while contributing to conservation. The time spent undertaking conservation activities typically makes up 30 – 40% of the trip with the other time spent touring such as bush walks, Island tours, wildlife viewing and visiting National Parks. No experience is required to participate in a Naturewise program, though you should be reasonably fit and active and declare any pre-existing medical conditions at the time of booking.
Program prices include accommodation, meals, program leader, transfers from the designated pick up point, park or reserve entry fees and scheduled activities. All programs are led by an experienced guide, and on some programs you are joined by visiting researchers.
