Participant Feedback

“I was stunned by the breath taking scenery in Tasmania and the rich diversity of landscapes and vegetation types.  The Alpine wildflowers were delightful.  Also, what a thrill to see so much wildlife in its natural habitat including wombats and their young, and fairy penguins only a few metres away.

It was very satisfying to participate in the weeding project in the Liffey River Reserve, knowing that we really can make a difference to the integrity of that area by participating in the removal of Fox Glove.

We couldn't have had a better team leader.  Brad was an excellent driver, guide and chef.  His energy, knowledge and enthusiasm seemed endless.  We were amazed by his wealth of local knowledge of the environmental and cultural heritage values of many regions of Tasmania.  His flexibility and sense of humour supported group dynamics as he tried to accommodate all interests and ability levels in the variety of walks and activities - thanks Brad!

The Tasmania Experience was by far the most well organised, stimulating and valuable trip I have been on.” J Kingston, April 2008.

“I attended the Tasmanian Experience tour lead by Brad Hall between 18th and 23rd March and wanted to inform you that I enjoyed the tour immensely and felt that it was very worthwhile. Not only did I get a lot out of it from an environmental aspect but also personally. Much of which I can attribute to the knowledge and leadership ability of Brad our guide/chef/entertainer whom made the whole experience that little bit more memorable.” P Bosshard, 2007.

“I cannot express to you how wonderful a tour it was. I have traveled around the world, been on countless tours in countless countries, but none have been as memorable and informative as the Tasmania Experience.”

“Loved every minute of it. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and interesting.”

“I had a wonderful time on the trip last week.  I was extremely impressed by our tour leader.  He was professional, engaging, fun and incredibly knowledgeable.  His depth of knowledge on a whole range of issues and areas of concern for conservation is amazing.   I learnt so much! The time spent in the parks and the walks were wonderful and I enjoyed every part of the trip.  It was a great opportunity to see a number of very special places in
Tasmania in a short period of time.”

I have been on a Naturewise trip to Tasmania in February, and I would like to take the opportunity to let you know how much I enjoyed it. It was a highly enjoyable trip that I think of fondly. The program was very diverse which allowed me to see the beauty of Tasmania but it was all really made worthwhile by our guide who with his seemingly endless enthusiasm and knowledge made it a brilliant experience for all of us.”
