Help us to create a Wild Future for the Carnaby's Cockatoo.
Unlike its famous cockatoo cousins, the Carnaby's cockatoo is diminishing in numbers and needs our help! Once widespread, Carnaby's cockatoo is now affected by threats such as fragmentation and lack of nesting habitat, shortage of food resources and ageing populations.
Conservation Volunteers Australia will engage local communities and work with a dozen schools within the Swan Coastal Plain corridor, who will assist with replanting food trees and constructing nest boxes to ensure that Carnaby's Cockatoo has a Wild Future.
Saving the Carnaby's Cockatoo is urgent, important and costly. Our supporters and volunteers provide invaluable funding and assistance to make this happen.
